About MOSPI-
The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) is a ministry of Government of India concerned with coverage and quality aspects of statistics released. The surveys conducted by the Ministry are based on scientific sampling methods.
The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MOSPI) came into existence as an Independent Ministry on 15.10.1999 after the merger of the Department of Statistics and the Department of Programme Implementation.

Young Professional (IT):
- B. Tech/ MCA/ Master in Computer Science
Young Professional (Statistics):
- Post Graduate degree in Statistics / Applied Statistics / Mathematics/Economics / Operations Research, Post Graduate degree in Commerce/ Computer Science/IT
Young Professional (Admin & Project):
- Master’s Degree in disciplines like Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Management, Social Work, Sociology, Marketing, Finance, Mass Communication, Public Administration
Young Professional (Legal):
- Integrated Law Graduates / LLB from a recognized university / institute
Junior Consultant (Legal):
- Integrated Law Graduates / LLB from a recognized university.
- 5 years’ experience in handling legal issues in public
Junior Consultant (IT):
- B. Tech./ MCA/ Master in Computer Science.
- Five years’ experience in GIS-based programming
Junior Consultant (Admin., Coord. & Policy):
- Master’s Degree in disciplines like Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Management, Social Work, Sociology, Management, Marketing, Finance, Mass Communication, Public Administration, Integrated Law Graduates
- 5 years’ experience in relevant field
Junior Consultant (Statistics):
- Master degree in Statistics / Applied Statistics / Economics
- 5 years’ experience in relevant field
Senior Consultant (National Accounts):
- Master degree in Statistics / Economics / Commerce
- 7 years’ experience in relevant field
Chief Consultant (National Accounts):
- Chartered Accountant
- 10 years’ experience in corporate sector accounts
Age Limit (as on 1st July 2020):
- Young Professionals: should be below 35 years
- Consultants: 65 years (Maximum age)
